I love the concept, art, music, and especially the monster and witch descriptions!
I agree that a brief tutorial or mechanical explanation could help, but on the other hand I had mostly figured things out by the end of my first run. Will definitely be playing this again!
There's so much to love about this! The art/design is amazing. Great sprites and color choices. The music is awesome and the sound design works well! The grimmore is fun to read too. It's a very polished package all around.
My only critique would be that I couldn't really tell if I was doing good or not while playing it. Part of it may have been on me for not being observant enough. I got the idea eventually that it was important to focus on weaknesses. I guess a tutorial or even just an instructions page might have helped.
Despite this, I guess I did fine! The demon queen accepted a date with everyone, yay! Overall I really liked this game. Great work!

I haven't been able to date (fully?) the demon queen yet, but I will not stop trying. The enemy sprites are so cool !
